Just when things cannot seem to get worse for new Manchester United manager, David Moyes now had to face the possibility of losing his star forward in the January window just days after suffering a humiliating 0-1 home defeat to former side Everton.
Rumours have been circulating for days now regarding Van Persie's transfer status thanks to an Irish Manchester United fan page and it has come out tonight from BBC's Match Of The Day pundit Mark Lawrenson that the Dutchman is ready to call time on his eighteen month old Manchester United career.
Lawrenson this evening broke the news on Irish radio station Today FM less than an hour ago. Could the former Arsenal man be lined up for a possible return to the club who he turned his back on to join rivals Manchester United in August of last year.
