As for Max Allegri, his position has been under threat now for a few weeks. It was thought that the Milan hierarchy had had enough just before the International break and that a change was necessary, however it never came about. Rumours have been flying around that Ex-player Clarence Seedorf had agreed to become Milan boss at the end of the season. He is currently in Brazil playing for Botofogo in the Brasileirao. That competition finishes on December 8th and if the rumours are true, he could be the new manager by Christmas, unless he hasn't got all his coaching badges.
There were fan protests after today's game, with approximately 300 fans gathered outside the ground. Both Kaka and Cristian Abbiati met with them to try to appease them.
Crowds in the San Siro this season have been quite poor because of Milan's performances. I was lucky enough to have been there for Milan's 1-0 victory over Sampdoria, but there was only just 30,000 people there. Unless things improve crowds are going to dwindle even more.
Milan are in such a mess, 13th in the Serie A table and closer to relegation than a Europa league spot, that even a managerial change may not turn things around. However, you have to think that Allegri's days are numbered.
