Inter Milan Central defender Andrea Ranocchia is on the verge of handing in a transfer request (according to givemesport).
The 25 year-old Italian International is in his fourth year at the San Siroand has been a regular in Walter Mazzarri's side. However, he has been stalling on a new contract and having been dropped last week in favour of Rolando, it appears the unsettled defender wants out in January.
All four Premier League teams are in need of a central defender, but which one could win the battle for the Italian? I think if Arsenal are prepared to break the bank for him, they would be in pole position, especially as Ranocchia wants to push for a starting World Cup place.
