Liverpool trying to sign Serie A star Jorginho

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is stepping up the clubs interest in Hellas Verona attacking midfielder Jorginho.
With Steven Gerrard now ruled out for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury and Daniel Sturridge also missing with an ankle injury, Liverpool's squad is looking pretty thin at the moment. Hellas Verona have been one of the surprise packets of Serie A this season, newly-promoted and expected by most pundits to struggle, the form of Jorginho, along with Juan Iturbe, another Liverpool target, has been the most talked about. With seven goals from fifteen games, it's a very good return from the 21 year-old Brazilian. He is a vey strong, physical player with a eye for goal, similar to Gerrard in many ways. He has previously stated that he wants to play Premier League football, could Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool make his dream come true.
